I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), Certified Health Coach and have been practicing for over 25 years. My passion is to empower and motivate seniors to stay safe, strong and independent for life. I have extensive experience working with seniors in various settings including Outpatient, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Home Health. My specialties include fall prevention, home modification, pelvic floor rehab, pulmonary rehab and LSVT BIG treatment for Parkinson's Disease. I have years of experience in developing and implementing successful rehab programs and as a Certified Health Coach, I am able to support my clients beyond rehab with a holistic approach. 

Besides being a physical therapist and health coach, I am a blessed mother of two sons, a wife of a retired Air Force officer, and we currently live in Virginia. I was born and raised on the small Hawaiian island of Lanai, which was known as "The Pineapple Island."  In Hawaii we say "Live Aloha", which means to live with love, kindness, respect and compassion. My goal with Aloha PT Care is to provide care with ALOHA and to empower every client with the tools they need to stay strong and independent for life.
